Although many people across western Connecticut headed back to work Wednesday after the Fourth of July, not every had a long holiday weekend.
It was business as usual at SoNo Cafe at the South Norwalk train station.
"We decided to open for all the regular customers, because they expect coffee first thing in the morning," says Joan Allison.
Allison says business was slow over the holiday weekend. She says the cafe ended up closing early but that it wasn’t all about the profits.
"We wanted to be there for them," she says. "It's about making sure customers leave with sandwich and drink in hand before starting off their day."
