The Sono Regent 8 theater, as well as the Royale 6 theater opened Wednesday on Westport Avenue in Norwalk.
The newly made over theaters have digital screens and luxury recliners with more room for customers.
There is also new food service that includes a full service bar.
Bow Tie Cinemas operates the theaters.
