Community activists of every age at St. Mark's Day Care Center in Bridgeport marched today for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The annual walk was co-sponsored by the police academy across the street from the day care.

The Bridgeport Police Department joined in as well. Chief of Police Rebeca Garcia says it's important to develop community and police relationships.

Police donned pink-colored laces and pink-colored hats to show their support.
