The Stress Factory, a popular comedy club in Bridgeport, has turned the stage light back on.
The club was set to celebrate its two-year anniversary and gaining traction before the COVID-19 pandemic forced it to close in March.
Club owner and comedian Vinnie Brand says he always tries to find the light side of terrible experiences as a practical way to get through them. He kept a promise to his staff to reopen, as well as adjoining restaurant Vickie Brand's Gather Tap and Tavern.
"We've done everything to make sure the experience is great," he says.
Since reopening one week ago, he says input from the public has been nothing but positive.
"We really love our business, we love our customers and comedians and put our heart and soul into it, so when you come back now you're going to come back to a family," says Brand.
Tickets are available online or at the box office.
