4ds agoWith only a few games remaining in the 2023 regular season, the Fairfield University softball team is hitting it's stride.
The Stags used a little bit of everything, including some small ball, to sweep Siena in a home doubleheader Friday afternoon.
Grad student Kaitlin Hoffman had an RBI single in the fifth inning of game one to put Fairfield up 4-0.
The Stags would go on to win game one 8-0 and game two by a score of 4-1.
Fairfield has one more doubleheader left before the league playoffs.
