The chairman of the Stamford Center for the Arts said Thursday the company is ready to move forward after emerging from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
Chairman Michael Widland says part of what helped the company emerge from bankruptcy was the lease of the arts center's Rich Forum to NBC, which is taping shows there.
Widland says the Stamford Center for the Arts also has some big acts such as Tony Bennett, Menopause the Musical and magician David Copperfield that will be performing this month at the Palace Theater.
