Bartenders from across the region gathered in Stamford for the 13th annual "Stamford's Best Bartender" contest.

Hosted by Stamford Magazine, the event brought together professionals and guests for an evening of cocktails, small bites, and friendly competition.

Judges, including News 12's Mark Sudol, sampled drinks while attendees voted on standout pairings in the Sip and Snack category.

This year's event introduced the new "Stamford Spirit" Award, recognizing creativity, energy and presentation from local restaurants.

"We help people know the community and get to know each other and celebrate what is great about Stamford," said Jonathan Moffly, of Moffly Media. "The people, the food, businesses, the history, the new Stamford lighthouse, everything that makes Stamford special."
