Thousands of people in Stamford learned life-saving techniques in an attempt to break a world record today.Organizers for the 'Hands for Life' event are hoping to train more than 7,909 people in CPR today to break the world record. They have already broken the U.S. record with more than 4,500 people trained in CPR in just one day. Organizers say Stamford also broke the record for the most people trained to use an automated external defibrillator.
