A Stamford based non-profit that aims to prevent child abuse is getting some big help from the state.
State Sen. Carlo Leone announced today that Saint Joseph Parenting Center is getting $50,000 in funding from Hartford.
That money will be used to expand services at SJPC, including classes to educate parents.
