A Stamford charity event gave people the opportunity Saturday to work out for a good cause.
Fit 4 Good was held at the Carozza Fitness facility – allowing people to take part in CrossFit, boxing and guided workouts.
Organizer and personal trainer Christian Wood partnered with ROSSCO, a nonprofit that helps keep children stay active throughout the summer to raise close to $10,000 to send kids to summer camp.
Wood tells News 12 the event is a full-circle moment for him.
"It feels great because I am a kid from Stamford whose mom couldn't afford summer camp so it feels good that I'm able to provide that for families around Stamford," says Wood.
Wood says the event would not have been possible without the help of other trainers who taught classes.
