A young Stamford girl is using her love of sweet treats to create smiles across the state.
Daniela Delgado, 8, has watched her cake-designer parents work for years. One night, when she was only 4, she asked if she could bake cakes for children in need.
The trio started a group called Daniela's Little Wish to bake custom cakes for children with serious illnesses. The Delgados donate their time, talent and treats for free.
Daniela's mom says they hope to turn Daniela's Little Wish into an official nonprofit organization in the future.
