Officials and local residents in Stamford lined up for flu shots Tuesday at the city's Government Center.
Stamford Mayor Dan Malloy was among those in line to receive the flu shot. Public health officials say that in the annual war on influenza, the vaccine is their best weapon.
Health officials also cautioned that those who were vaccinated Tuesday will have to repeat the process in October when the H1N1 vaccine arrives.
