A Stamford-based nonprofit organization gave people the chance to have fun while learning about the city's harbor on Saturday.
SoundWaters held its first ever HarborFest at the Harbor Point Waterfront with a day full of activities.
The festival included a kayak race featuring 14 boats made out of cardboard. Organizers say they presented awards including most spirit and best name. They also gave an award, called the Titanic, to one boat that sank in style.
Organizers say the event was a success.
