Thousands packed Downtown Stamford to catch a glimpse of the giant balloons and floats at the UBS Parade Spectacular Sunday.
This year organizers inflated 16 giant character balloons for the parade which included Kermit and Shrek.
The theme for this year's parade was the 1970s. Families who spoke with News 12 say the parade has become an annual tradition.
It marks the ninth year that UBS is sponsoring the event.
