? It?s back to work for some union workers from Stamford Hospital.
Dietary workers returned to work Saturday after a three-day strike. Hospital officials say nursing assistants will return on another day because the hospital hired their temporary replacements for at least five days. About 170 union members were picketing for a new contract, which they?ve been working without since September 30. The union and hospital have been unable to reach a compromise on the health care plan.
Stamford Hospital and the union plan to resume negotiations.
