Health officials are recommending children get vaccinated a second time after a chicken pox outbreak in two southwestern Connecticut communities. Stamford?s health director says children usually receive the first shot between the ages of 12 and 18 months. Now, due to a number of reported cases, health officials say a second dose is recommended for children between the ages of 4 and 6. Officials also say it is never too late to get a chicken pox vaccine. Adults wishing to get the shot should consult their doctors.
