Stamford police are on the lookout for people driving on the wrong side of the law. In the past month, police in Stamford have stopped close to 100 drivers, writing tickets to almost 70. Lieutenant Sean Cooney says the cost of a ticket is a small price to pay for safe streets. Police say the most common violations found are rolling through red lights and speeding. Police say while the ticketed drivers aren't happy, they've gotten a lot of positive feedback from people who live and work in the area.
