A driver crashed at a playground outside the Stamford Boys & Girls Club Sunday afternoon, injuring a child.

The driver was taken to the hospital. The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m.

Police have not yet detailed the circumstances surrounding the incident and have not confirm if the driver was charged.

News 12’s Shosh Bedrosian spoke with witnesses at the scene who said a female driver appeared to be driving fast before striking a swing set.
