Stamford police: driver involved in pedestrian crash in March faces negligent homicide charges

The accident happened in March at the intersection of Prospect Street and Forest Street in Stamford.

Stamford police say the driver who struck a resident in March is now facing negligent homicide charges.

Tyler Zinko, the driver, was initially issued a misdemeanor summons at the scene for striking a vulnerable person and causing “serious physical injury.”

Police updated the charges after the woman died from her injuries.

Zinko is due back in court on June 21.
