Officials say the attempted abduction happened on Crystal Street.
The victim is 22 years old, according to police. They say the victim kicked the suspect after he came out of the bushes and grabbed her.
Police say the suspect then got into a car, and as the victim was walking away, he told her to get in.
They also say the suspect was scared off by a witness who had pulled up to the scene. He was found on Virgil Street not long after the incident.
Officials say no one has been arrested, but one person has been detained.
