Stamford police say they are searching not only for the young people involved in a huge brawl downtown, but also the bystanders who did not stop it.
Police say a video shows the fight last Wednesday at the corner of Atlantic and Broad streets.
The video shows people fighting and attacking the victim, as well as spectators encouraging the violence.
Police say anyone seen encouraging the behavior or taking video of the incident without doing anything about it also faces riot charges.
"By filming it, you're also adding to the hysteria, and you can see in the video, them egging it on and filming it,” says Capt. Diedrich Hohn. “But when you film, you're also filming a crime. So, we have a right to take that phone and seize it as evidence."
Police say they have already charged nine teenagers seen in the video.
Anyone with information is asked to call Stamford police.
