Stamford residents and community activists took part in a march today to remember slain civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Participants walked from the Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church on Fairfield Avenue to the Yerwood Center. Organizers said their goal was to keep Dr. King's dream alive in 2012. The march ended with a celebration and several speeches on education, voter registration and capital punishment.
