The city of Stamford is preparing to reintroduce an indoor mask mandate similar to New Haven on Wednesday.

Mayor David Martin told News 12 at a vaccine clinic Sunday that the mandate will go into effect later in the week.

The move comes after Gov. Ned Lamont issued an executive order giving municipalities the authority to implement their own mask mandates.
