Some students at Westhill High School in Stamford staged a walkout this morning to protest the recent killings of black men by police.
Students walked out of the school and over to the football field, where they gathered for a moment of silence remembering Eric Garner and Michael Brown.
The students say they feel they can't stay silent on such an important issue.
They also protested in memory of Trayvon Martin, the unarmed teen who was killed by a neighborhood watch volunteer in Florida.
