The second of three lawsuits has been settled after one of the deadliest fires in Stamford history.
The city's legal team says Stamford will pay $1.35 million to the estate of Pauline and Lomer Johnson, who died along with their three granddaughters in a Christmas morning fire in 2011.
The lawsuit was filed by the uncle of the children, who says the city was negligent when it tore down the house just one day after the fire.
