Stamford's Curtain Call has received a lifeline to help it stay open.
The theatre group has been awarded a Shuttered Venue Operators Grant. The funding will help pay for show royalties, lumber for sets and material for costumes.
It will also be used to invest in the theatre's sound system. Curtain Call's executive director says he's overwhelmed by this honor.
The theatre will open for its first season since the pandemic began in September.
Hand sanitizer will be available, and staff are encouraging people to wear masks.
