Stamford officials are trying to find a new garbage pickup company after the one they were using declared bankruptcy.
City officials say after Trans-Load America's announcement Tuesday night, 100 tons of trash have piled up in Stamford.
The facility can hold up to 300 tons of garbage and they are looking for a temporary bidder to pick up the trash.
