Starbucks and Chipotle will be among the first tenants in the Steelpointe Harbor development in Bridgeport.

City officials made the announcement Wednesday and say construction on the two businesses will begin later this month. Work has already begun on the infrastructure of Bass Pro Shops, the first tenant announced at the development on Stratford Avenue and Pembroke Street.

Residents say they look forward to the new businesses opening because it will bring more jobs to the city.

Starbucks and Chipotle are expected to be open for business by next September.
