State lawmakers say school counselors will not serve as school resource officers.
This decision comes after pushback from counselors who said they didn't want the job.
A bill would simply require school districts' agreements with police departments to be publicly posted online.
Earlier this month, some students pushed to replace SROs with counselors or social workers.
Students addressed lawmakers with their concerns.
