Looking for a
summer job that won't cut in to your time at the beach? The state says it needs
lifeguards.
Right now, officials
hired about 68 but are looking for 110.
That way, they
don't have to reduce the number of lifeguard-protected hours at beaches and
lakes across the state.
Will Healy, of the
Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, says it's always tough to
hire seasonal staff. But he says this position could save lives.
You can apply for
a lifeguard position on the state website.
