New reward money is being offered by the state for information on a 2024 double murder in Oxford.
Gov. Lamont has authorized two $50,000 rewards for information leading to arrests and convictions in the case.
The bodies of David Rivera and Carlos Omar Calderon were found in a burning car on Roosevelt Drive near the Stevenson Dam in May of last year. Rivera died from a gunshot wound to the head.
The families of the Hartford men are still searching for answers.
"I just want justice for David and Omar, from our family. We need closure. And whoever knows anything, please come forward," said Carmen Muniz, Rivera's mother.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact state police.
