State police clear scene at Golden Hill Courthouse following possible bomb threat

Officials say there was a possible bomb threat at the Golden Hill Courthouse this morning and that state police are handling the incident. People were seen re-entering the building shortly after state police left the scene.

State police responded to the Golden Hill Courthouse in Bridgeport this morning following a possible bomb threat, Bridgeport's Office of Emergency Management & Homeland Security Director Scott Appleby says.
Appleby said state police were handling the incident.
State Police Sgt. Christine Jeltema says the state bomb squad conducted a thorough sweep of the building and the courthouse was expected to resume business.   
People appeared to have been let back inside of the courthouse, and state police have left the scene
