Drivers should take a careful look at a video posted by Connecticut State police.
According to state police, if drivers see a deer in their lane or about to cross the highway, they shouldn’t slam on the brakes or swerve into other lanes.
Instead, drivers are urged to reduce speed quickly, but safely, and turn on vehicle hazard lights, in the hope that the deer gets out of the road.
