Connecticut state police have released the latest New Year's holiday travel statistics.

State police say they received more the 3,800 calls for service over the holiday weekend.

From midnight Friday until Monday morning, state police handed out 292 speeding tickets and 34 DUI arrests.

There were also 203 accidents on state roads - 16 of them with injuries.
