16h agoA police officer in New Britain has been placed on restricted duty after he reportedly hit and killed a pedestrian Thursday morning.
State police are leading the investigation into the fatal crash that killed Katherine Colon, 40, on West Main Street.
Troopers say Colon was struck and killed by New Britain Officer Connor Reinsch as she was trying to cross the street.
State police are asking if anyone witnessed the incident to contact them with information.
