(05/25/06) NORWALK ? State police have revealed new ways they will be enforcing driving laws this holiday weekend.
Police say they?ll be looking for drivers who are driving aggressively, speeding, violating seat belt laws, and driving under the influence. They?ll be using unmarked cars, aircraft, and ultra-violet laser guns. These new guns can gage a driver?s speed within three-tenths of a second.
State police are also warning drivers with small children to properly install car seats. Last Memorial Day weekend, the police reported two deaths, 82 DUI?s, and hundreds of tickets given out.
