A 15-year-old from Connecticut led police on a chase Monday that ended in a multivehicle crash on I-95, according to state police.
Troopers say they received an alert in New Rochelle about an erratic driver traveling northbound on I-95 from The Bronx. They spotted two vehicles in Larchmont and began pursuit but lost sight of the lead car.
The second vehicle, driven by the teen, crashed into three other vehicles near Rye Playland.
Everyone involved, including the teen driver and four juveniles in the fleeing car, was evaluated at local hospitals and released.
The teen faces charges of reckless driving and assault.
