State Sen. Marilyn Moore is calling for an investigation into the results of this week's mayoral primary.
Moore beat incumbent Mayor Joe Ganim in votes cast on Election Day at polling places but lost after absentee ballots were counted.
Moore is now contesting the handling of those absentee votes and is calling for a state and federal probe.
Prior to Tuesday's vote, Moore planned on being on the ballot as the candidate for the Working Families Party but found out late in the day she did not submit enough signatures.
