PosiGen's Solar for All initiative, in partnership with Connecticut Green Bank, is helping more low-income residents go green.
The program is part of an initiative the solar company has had since 2015.
People can have solar panels installed without having to meet the high credit scores and high-income requirements that most solar companies have.
PosiGlen has installed panels in a dozen communities, most recently in Norwalk.
So far, 100 homeowners in the city have made the switch.
The average customer saves about $600 annually.
