Stew Leonard Jr. is throwing out the first pitch at the New York Yankees game Tuesday night ahead of the game against the Minnesota Twins.

The starting pitcher for Norwalk High School and other local sports enthusiasts helped Leonard Jr. to feel confident in his throwing abilities on Monday before he takes the mound.

"You know what the common theme is? Don't throw it short, because the whole stadium boos," he said.
