Stew Leonard's employees are suggesting people do their Thanksgiving meal shopping early this year to get the best sale items.
Paul Mclean, Stew Leonard's Chief Merchandising Officer, says people can shop early and buy sale items.
He also suggests making your own stuffing and pies to save money.
Despite inflation, staple items like milk, eggs and butter at the grocery chain are cheaper than last year.
The chain also has plenty of potatoes, yams and greens thanks to a good crop season from their local producers.
As for the turkey, Mclean says bigger is better this year so you can have plenty of meat for leftovers.
Mclean says Stew Leonard's expects to be busy through Wednesday.
