Bridgeport police say they have recovered a 60-pound stone angel statue stolen from a memorial in Beardsley Park last week.
The stone statue was taken from a playground in the park called "Aaron's Journey."
The playground is accessible for all kids, and is named after 9-year-old Aaron "AJ" Richardson, who died in 2008.
Aaron's mother says she is grateful to have the statue back and will be returning it to its original location.
