Spring arrives tomorrow morning at 10:46 a.m. This is the point in our orbit where the Earth is neither tilted toward nor away from the sun. The sun is shining directly over the equator and both hemispheres are equally illuminated. This week, there are roughly 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of night.
Temperatures will continue to recover over the next few days. Today's temperatures were slightly better than yesterday and Friday will be better than today's.
Temperatures over the weekend will top out in the 50s, but those milder days come with a bit of rain.
Showers are possible starting tomorrow afternoon through early Saturday.
Most of the rain will fall at night. Rain returns later Sunday and into Monday with the passage of a sharp cold front.
Keep the heavier coats out for now, as there will be another cold snap again next week.
