The forecast is straight-forward: a snowstorm is headed through western Connecticut on Friday night into Saturday morning. It starts shortly after 6 p.m. and ends by 7 a.m. to lingering snow showers. The sun comes out by noon Saturday. The overall expectation is for four to 8 inches of snow, where a snow band can develop and increase totals to 8 to 12 inches.
Snow banding is tough to predict before the storm arrives, but this pattern indicates the possibility. The snow will be fluffy due to temperatures in the mid-20s so it will accumulate fast!
Saturday afternoon will be sunny and brisk, but please watch your step as you venture out! Sunday will feature sun and clouds with breezy conditions. Monday will have a few rain showers.
