It will stay dry Friday and we’ll see a mix of sun and clouds as we head into the afternoon. Expect Friday’s highs to range from the low 70s along the coast to the mid and even upper 70s inland.
Later tonight into Saturday, we’re expecting a couple of rounds of rain and some embedded thunderstorms. It won’t be a total washout, but expect periods of heavy rain at times.
Saturday morning will likely start off wet, but things should begin to clear up in the afternoon.
That said, with the clearing will come a chance for more showers and storms to pop up later in the day—some of which could bring gusty winds, so it’s a good idea to stay weather aware. Rainfall totals could add up to about 1 to 1.5 inches.
Winds will shift to a more southerly direction, which means warmer and more humid air will move in.
Looking ahead, Sunday is shaping up to be drier, and that trend continues into next week. Get ready for a warm-up, with highs climbing into the 80s!
And if you’re dealing with allergies, heads up—pollen levels are still elevated, especially from oak, birch, and grass.
