FORECAST:
January thaws typically happen later in the month, often the third or fourth week of January. This year, our thaw has arrived early.
We will see unseasonably mild temperatures again today with highs in the 40s to near 50 degrees. It will be cooler on Saturday, and wetter too.
Two rounds of rain are heading our way, one later today and a bigger one on Saturday.
Saturday's rains will last into Saturday night and perhaps even into early Sunday. Rainfall totals by early Sunday will reach 0.75 to 1 inch of rain.
Sunday will be the drier of the two weekend days with a continuation of the mild weather. We turn a bit cooler for the start of the work week before a more significant cool down heads our way for late next week.
