Winter temperatures and a mix of ice and snow are expected overnight into Friday.
Snow will transition to a wintry mix before switching to rain by morning along the shoreline. It will stay a wintry mix inland before it all ends around 12 p.m. Friday.
The weekend looks fair and cold with temps Saturday and Sunday in the 30s.
OVERNIGHT: Cloudy with snow developing around midnight. A couple hours of snow then sleet will mix in and stay like that into the morning hours. The sleet will change to rain along the shoreline and stay a wintry mix inland. It all ends around noon on Friday. Low of 29.
FRIDAY: Morning wintry mix and rain ending by noon. Some light snow or snow showers may linger in Litchfield County. High of 38.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and cold, brisk. High of 33.
SUNDAY: Partly sunny and breezy. High of 39.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny, brisk and very cold. High of 29.
TUESDAY: Cloudy with possible snow and rain showers in the afternoon. High of 38.
