Thousands were without power this morning after a strong line of storms moved through the region last night.
At its peak, more than 3,000 Greenwich homes were without electricity as well more than 1,000 in both Fairfield and Stamford. Hundreds more homes were out in other communities.
Officials warned people to watch out for downed trees and wires left on the road.
