The Division of Criminal Justice of will take over the investigation into Wednesday's fatal shooting of a carjacking suspect in West Haven.
New London state's attorney will now oversee the investigation into Mubarak Soulemane's death.
State troopers can be heard on dash camera and body camera footage yelling to Soulemane to get out of the car.
One of the troopers fires his weapon when Soulemane appears to reach for the door, yelling that the suspect has a knife.
