Police confirmed that Fotis Dulos, a suspect in his missing wife's murder, has not died and is in critical condition after suffering carbon monoxide poisoning.
News 12 sources and multiple media outlets reported earlier this afternoon that Fotis Dulos was found dead in an apparent suicide after he failed to show up to an emergency bond hearing scheduled for Tuesday at noon.
Authorities say they went to check on Fotis Dulos at his Farmington home, where they found him in his car in the garage. All doors to the garage were shut. Police took him out of his car and performed CPR.

Authorities say it is too early to know if he left a suicide note.
Fotis Dulos was brought to UConn Health in Farmington, where he was transferred to a chopper from an ambulance. He was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in the Bronx, which was selected for its hyperbaric chamber.
A UConn spokesperson declined to comment on Fotis Dulos' condition or what sort of treatment he received.
Defense attorney Kevin Smith spoke outside court in Stamford earlier in the day when Dulos was thought to be deceased, and would not confirm Dulos' death by suicide. Dulos attorney Norm Pattis, who is not in Connecticut, issued a statement that said, "I am told Mr. Dulos is en route to the hospital with a pulse. Our thoughts and prayers are with him."
Fotis Dulos was charged in the slaying of his estranged wife, Jennifer Dulos, who went missing in May of 2019. She has still not been found.
A source tells News 12 Connecticut that the bond hearing had to do with questions about whether he had the collateral to back the $6 million bond. News 12 is told that it's likely the state would've asked that his bond be revoked and he return to jail.
Pattis is in Washington, D.C. working on another case. Attorney Kevin Smith was supposed to handle the hearing for Fotis.
