Town officials say swimming is off limits in Stratford today due to high bacteria levels in the water after the rain storm.
Stratford health officials say all beaches in town will be closed through tomorrow.
Testing will take place today to make sure the water is safe for beach goers.
Meanwhile, Fairfield officials say there will be no swimming allowed at Lake Mohegan today.
